Project system Futurecool Rack

  • High flexibility: Container solutions, arctic conditions, brine systems and possibility for Siemens S7 controller.
  • Low temperature: Down to −50 °C with ammonia brine or direct expansion.
  • High efficiency: Heat reclaim, suction gas- and flash gas heat exchanger with possibility for ejector.
  • Efficient oil separation: In-house development and production of oil separators.
  • Stainless steel piping and frame: Long service life, even in harsh environments.

We manufacture everything from condensing units to 40-foot container solutions with up to 500 kW of cooling or 350 kW of freezing capacity.

Over the past 20 years, we have built extensive expertise in designing systems for special, customer-specific applications. We specialize in low-temperature systems down to −50 °C, including blast freezers with capacities of up to 100 kW.

This places a high demand on the system in terms of oil separation and precise control of suction gas superheating. We design and manufacture our own oil separators and use both suction gas heat exchangers and suction accumulators with hot gas to ensure correct superheating without liquid slugging.

In addition, we have extensive experience in designing systems for harsh environments where there is either a high salt content in the air or large temperature variations. We also supply special evaporators for cold and freezer rooms with high humidity or saline conditions.

Project systems are generally constructed in stainless steel. This can include solutions with gas coolers and direct injection into evaporators, or plate heat exchangers with brine on the secondary side.

About
FutureCool

Futurecool A/S is a manufacturing company located in Vejle.

In 2023 we changed our name from JF Køleteknik A/S to Futurecool A/S. At the same time, we sold off our service department in order to focus exclusively on producing CO₂ refrigeration systems with capacities from 2 kW and up to 500 kW.

We built our first CO₂ refrigeration system in 2007.

Now, 200 systems later, we have gained solid experience across everything from condensing units to container-based solutions, and every day we insist on continuing to develop, optimise, and improve.
